This cooking process showed that four of the ten batches of air-fried French fries contained levels of carcinogens. All were way above EU-approved safety standards.
Air-fryer brands were not disclosed. However, the survey team discovered that many of the brands tested were from well-known white appliance manufacturers in South Korea and Europe.
